Dear Campus Community,
The college recorded two new positive student COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
Over the past 14 days, six total cases have been recorded. Based on state
travel regulations or public health guidance, 14 students are in quarantine.
Results from pooled surveillance testing samples taken Monday were all
negative. Results from other testing days will be shared when available.
*A reminder: Students must have a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend
on-campus classes beginning Monday, Feb. 15. More information on
requirements is online at plattsburgh.edu/COVID-19
<http://plattsburgh.edu/COVID-19>.*
We respect the privacy of those in isolation and quarantine and will
support them. If you are aware, please also respect their privacy.
We encourage you to take steps daily to ensure the safety for you and all
around you. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, avoid
large social gatherings, and stay home when sick.
Dr. Alexander Enyedi
President
