If Something Happens, Do You Have a Plan?

Campus Community,

If something unexpected happens, do you know how you would get in touch
with your family or friends?

Your emergency plan doesn't have to be complicated. Start with a few basic
questions:

   - Who would you contact?
   - Where would you meet if you couldn't return home?
   - Who would you contact if your family members couldn't reach each other?
   - What information would you need if your phone wasn't available?
   - Do the people close to you know what your plan is?

It's also a good idea to keep important phone numbers and other contact
information somewhere other than your phone.

And remember, your plan should work for you. Think about medical needs,
transportation, pets, disabilities, or anything else that could affect what
you would need during an emergency.

Take a few minutes this week and make a plan.
