Direct Deposit Enrollment and Updates Through NYS Payroll Online

We are pleased to announce that New York State employees can now enroll in
direct deposit and update existing direct deposit information directly
through NYS Payroll Online.

NYS Payroll Online is the same secure service currently used to view pay
statements, access W-2 forms, and manage withholding allowances.

To enroll in or update your direct deposit information, please follow the
steps below:

·         Visit www.suny.edu/hrportal and log in with your SUNY Plattsburgh
User ID and password.

·         Select the “NYS Payroll Online” icon located in the Self Service
section.  Please note the *NYS ID* displayed in the top right corner of the
page, as you will need it later in the process.

·         Employees must complete multifactor authentication (MFA) setup to
ensure the security of personal information.  Several authentication
methods are available; the recommended option is “SMS Authentication,”
which sends a verification code to your mobile phone for secure access.

·         Complete the initial verification process with the last 4 digits
of your SSN and your NYS Employee ID number.

·         Click “FINISH” to access the NYS Payroll Online homepage.
