Summer Suny Tuition Waiver Deadline Notice

[Human Resource & Payroll Services]

All state employees and Research Foundation colleagues are eligible for
waivers
of tuition at State operated campuses (excluding Community Colleges). The
SUNY tuition waiver policy allows for a maximum of one course per year. The
awarding of waivers is determined by the relationship of the courses taken
to
current position responsibilities and previous waivers granted, as well as
by the
number of requests received and the funds available. Some semesters there
are
only enough funds remaining to cover a portion of the tuition requested.
Waivers
for part-time employees are prorated based on their appointment percentage.

Tuition assistance may be available through the various bargaining units
but is
contingent upon the outcome of the collective bargaining process. Colleagues
should coordinate application for tuition waivers with their requests for
assistance
through their bargaining units.

Applications
for waivers for the Summer Semester must be submitted to Human Resource
Services via email at hrs at plattsburgh.edu by April 27, 2026.
