Spring 2026 Midterm Grades Due March 25 by 11:30 PM

Dear Faculty,



Timely, meaningful feedback allows students to take appropriate action to
enhance their learning and may improve success and
retention.  Midterm grades based on assignments early in the semester give
students a sense of their academic progress and are used by advisors,
coaches, and student support professionals to help students achieve their
goals and plan upcoming course schedules. Faculty Senate Action #272
requires instructors to provide a midterm grade for each student in the
course.



Spring 2026 midterm grades are due Wednesday, March 25, by 11:30
p.m.  Midterm grades can be entered as follows:



1.  Log into MyPlattsburgh Portal.


2.  Click on the Faculty Tab.

3.  Select the Midterm Grades link found under the Course Information
header.

4.  Select a course; faculty of cross-registered courses may now
submit midterm grades for cross registered students.

5.  Enter and Submit Grades. If a student is registered in your course and
has never attended, a midterm grade of “E” must be entered per Faculty
Senate policy.

6. Repeat for each course you are teaching.
