*From CEES to City Hall: The role of planning, recreation, and
community **engagement
at the City of Plattsburgh*


Cities are made up of many departments with different responsibilities that
work together to keep a city running. In this seminar, three early-career
professionals will speak about the role of the Community Development Office
at the City of Plattsburgh. In this talk, the City Planner, Recreation
Coordinator, and Community Engagement Coordinator will share about their
job responsibilities, how their work makes an impact in the local
community, and exciting upcoming projects and events. The speakers, who are
SUNY Plattsburgh alumni, will share details of the versatility of their
environmental science degrees.
