With summer fast approaching, we would like to remind you that the Empire
Plan travels with you, whether in New York, across the United States, or
abroad. It is encouraged to use participating providers when possible, but
if you cannot, please note that international care is typically
out-of-network, requiring upfront payment and claims for reimbursement. As
a reminder, emergency care is always covered.

Before travel, employees should pack ID cards, download provider apps, and
plan ahead for prescriptions. For additional information, please refer to
