EMS is now open for Fall 2026 Semester!

Good Morning,



EMS is now open for the Fall 2026 semester. Please read this email in full
as there have been some changes over the course of the year which has
dictated some changes to how we have to process room bookings. So please
read the steps below carefully and if you have any questions please reach
out.



*Step 1- Log onto EMS: *Choose your preferred location, date and time of
your event. Here is a document

*Step 2 - READY Requests: *If you plan to utilize Alumni, Cardinal
Ballrooms, Amitie Plaza, or the ACC Courtyard, you must submit a Ready
Request through the READY system. The system has options you can choose
from, including a standard setup (for those who want to leave the rooms as
is). Again for some quick links click here

Please note that a Setup Request is required and if not received then your
room setup will not be honored.  A setup request must be filed at least
two weeks or more in advance, otherwise the room will be set up as is and
there will be no opportunity to change that set up.



*Step 3- Event Services (Optional):* Our Events Management Office has many
tools to help enhance your lighting, visual and audio experience at your
events. Reach out to Jeremy Overstreet (jover001 at plattsburgh.edu)  for a
consultation on how his team can help your event stand out more. These
services do have reasonable costs associated with them.



*Things to Note:*

   1.

   Weekend setups (Friday-Sunday)- We can only accommodate one setup for an
   entire weekend. This means that the first setup we receive will be how the
   room is set up for the duration of the weekend.
   2.

   ACC Hours of Operation - EMS availability is based on the hours of
   operation for the ACC (Monday - Friday 8AM-12AM) (Saturday & Sunday 1:00
   PM-12:00AM) If you try to enter a time before the hour of operation you
   will not be able to see available rooms. Please ensure you are putting the
   correct time before you search.



*ACC Spaces that DO require a Ready Request* (regardless of if it’s a
standard setup or special setup)

o   Warren Ballrooms

o   Cardinal Lounge

o   Alumni Conference Room

o   ACC Courtyard

o   Amitie Plaza



*ACC Spaces that DON’T require an event setup through Ready Request as they
are fixed and unable to be rearranged.*

o   Lobby tables

o   The Mannix Room (Meeting Room #1)

o   Meeting Rooms 2-8

o   Amnesty Room

o   Flynt Commons

o   ACC outdoor fire pit

o   Burghy’s Den (2 catering tables are already located in the back)
