Suggest Newspaper/Magazine to Students You Know

Student Newspaper/Magazine for Fun, Experience, Resume Building

If you know students who like to write, photograph or do multimedia and who
you think would benefit from hands-on, practical experience, please suggest
they join the staff of* Cardinal Points,* the college's independent
student-run news organization, or* All Points Now,* our online magazine
focusing on the lifestyles issues affecting young adults.

We are seeking reporters, writers, photographers, copy editors,
proofreaders, editorial cartoonists, illustrators, page designers, graphic
designers, multimedia creators, videographers, and marketing/social media
specialists.

Working on a college publication, in any capacity, is an opportunity to
gain experience, build clips or a portfolio and add to your resume. Not to
mention, it is also a great way to make connections and learn more about
the college and surrounding community, working with others in a club-like
setting.

All majors and experience levels are welcome. Cardinal Points meets 7 p.m.
Mondays in Ward 110. All Points Now meets 5 p.m. Wednesday's in Ward 120.

For staff members, these publications are a 1 credit class. Non-journalism
majors will need an override to register, which we are happy to provide.
