SUNY Plattsburgh revised our Statement of Ethics for Faculty and Staff Polic
y. This policy ensures compliance with New York State Public Officer Law,
specifically requiring employees to adhere to the Code of Ethics, which
prohibits using official positions for personal benefit. It mandates that
all employees complete annual training through the COELIG. The revised
policy also includes procedures for filing annual Financial Disclosure
Statements (FDS) for select employees and reporting an ethics violation. The
