*Learning to Have Difficult Conversations: Saturday, February 21 in the
Angell College Center Ballrooms. *Engaging in difficult conversations is
becoming more and more challenging for a variety of reasons and can
negatively affect our college experience. We often struggle to navigate
conflict in a productive way, which breaks down our teams/organizations,
relationships, and our ability to work together. This session will focus on
embracing the discomfort associated with difficult conversations through a
lens of grace, seeking to understand, and the belief authentic feedback is
a radical act of love. The goal is to equip attendees with the tools and
confidence to skillfully navigate difficult conversations while also
building our communication skills, trust within our relationships, and
supportive environments.

There will be two sessions of this program: 1) The first session from 11
a.m. - 12:30 p.m. is for fraternity/sorority members and student athletes;
2) The second session from 1:30 - 3 p.m. is for Student Association
Officers, club/organization leaders, Community Living staff and all other
students. Sponsored by Student Leadership and Engagement with support from
the Career Development Center, College Auxiliary Services, Community
Living, Fraternity & Sorority Life and the Student Association.
