Learning to have difficult conversations is one of the most important life
skills that you can develop. Navigating conflict in a healthy and
productive way has many benefits to your personal and professional life,
and particularly to your role in both formal and informal peer groups on
campus. However, research shows that approximately 63% of college students
report that they feel intimidated engaging in potential conflict with their
peers. Engaging in difficult conversations is becoming more and more
challenging for a variety of reasons. But when we struggle to navigate
conflict in a productive way, it breaks down our teams, relationships and
our ability to work together. Join us on Saturday, February 21 from 1:30 -
3 p.m. in the ACC Warren Ballrooms as we learn more about specific tools
that will build our communication skills and create more trusting
relationships and supportive environments. Pre-registration through

Auxiliary Services, Community Living, Fraternity & Sorority Life and the
Student Association.
