09/01/2026 Faculty Senate Meeting

Hello everyone,

Welcome back!

I hope your semester is going well. It is my pleasure to invite you to the
first Faculty Senate meeting of AY 2026-27 from 3:30-5:30 pm in the *ACC
Alumni Conference Room on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.*

Please note that the entire campus community is welcome to attend the
Faculty Senate meetings!

To allow for broader campus viewing of the Senate, we will be attempting a
limited hybrid modality. If you are interested in attending Senate as an
audience member, you may either attend in person or via Zoom at
https://plattsburgh.zoom.us/j/86045657885

Likewise, if you are a senator whose primary work location is the Branch
Campus at Queensbury, you may utilize the Zoom link to join the meeting.

*Senators & Alternates*: We anticipate two Curriculog proposals to review
and vote on (see below).

1. New French Language Certificate

2. New Spanish Language Certificate

to Senators and Alternates only) -
1. Secretary of the Faculty Senate
2. Chair of the Resources & Planning Committee
