The CEES Seminar Series presents:

*Amélie Przedwiecki, *Natural Resources and Ecology MS Student

*Internship Defense: Assessing ecosystem health in an actively
managed, ecologically diverse pine barrens*


The talk will focus on my internship at the Albany Pine Bush preserve and
my experience there assisting with managing a globally rare, nationally
significant, and locally distinct ecosystem. I will talk about the various
projects that I participated in, including a prescribed burn,
endangered karner blue butterfly sampling, and bird banding. I will also
discuss the data analysis that I have been conducting on 5 years of burn
severity data.
