Volunteer Actors Needed for Campus Full-Scale Exercise

Dear Cardinal Community,

The Office of Emergency Management and University Police, in coordination
with local, county, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency
response partners, will conduct a full-scale active shooter exercise on
*Friday, May 22, at the Field House.*
We are seeking volunteers to participate as actors.

Volunteers may serve as bystanders, witnesses, or simulated victims. Some
participants will be given mock injuries and may be treated and transported
by EMS to support the realism of the exercise.

*Please note:* Participants will be exposed to...

   - Loud noises (simulated gunfire, shouting, banging)
   - Simulated smoke
   - Odors similar to gunpowder

This is an important opportunity to support campus preparedness and
response efforts.
