Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are chemicals found all around
us - in the environment, in consumer products, and in many industrial
processes. The science of PFAS, from the functionality of the chemistry to
their fate in the environment, is a rapidly evolving field - new findings
and developments emerging regularly. In parallel, regulations surrounding
PFAS in products and the environment are constantly changing. Staying
informed is essential for companies to stay compliant. This presentation
will delve into the strategies we use to identify PFAS in industrial
operations. Furthermore, it will discuss the "PFAS of regulatory scrutiny"
to contextualize PFAS that matter. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive
understanding of PFAS-related enterprise risk, empowering companies to make
informed decisions and responsibly manage their operations.
