*Consider joining our new Aspirational Masculinity Working Group! *

*In partnership with the New York Office for the Prevention of Domestic
Violence SUNY Plattsburgh is participating in Aspire NY, a program which
aims to engage our campus in dialogue and strategy sessions around healthy
masculinity. Launching this working group and participating in the OPDV
Aspire NY program will help SUNY Plattsburgh build our capacity and sustain
these efforts across campus and amongst both employees and students. *

*Please save the date for our kick-off meeting for working group members
on:*
*- Friday, October 17 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. via Zoom where in we will be
introduced to our Aspire NY facilitator, Don McPherson. *

*Don will then come to our campus in person to lead two interactive
workshops for the wider campus community to engage in deep conversations
and socio-ecological model assessment of our campus and community culture
around masculinity. **These half day workshops will be on:*
*- Fridays October 31 in the Cardinal Lounge *
*- November 14 in Au Sable Hermes Room 114, both from 12:00-3:00 p.m. *
*Refreshments will be provided. *

*Even if you cannot join the working group, please save the dates of 10/31
and 11/14 for these campus-wide workshops.*
