*NYS CETC Ethics Training - New Training Sessions in October*
The NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (COELIG) expects
100% compliance by completion of one (1) training for all NYS employees
each calendar year. The 2025 ethics training assignment is due by 12/31/25.
*Training Options:*
The Commission on Ethics & Lobbying in Government (COELIG) is now providing
live AND on-demand training sessions. *As of October 2025, Employees no
longer need to sign into the SUNY employee portal to navigate SLMS or
search for a course offering. Enroll directly at the links below.*

Reminders:
- *Employees may complete the live CETC training each year to meet the
requirement. However, if an employee completed the on-demand training in
2024, they are required to complete a live training in 2025.*
- *All employees new to state service must complete their first round of
ethics training live.*
- All course completions are being tracked for compliance.
Non-compliance will be communicated to employees and/or their supervisors
and Deans or Vice Presidents on a case-by-case basis.
- Employees who do not have a dedicated computer or quiet space to meet
their training requirements and/or deadlines should speak with their
supervisors so that every effort can be made to support you.
- Employees who need reasonable accommodations to meet training
requirements and/or deadlines, should speak with their supervisors or
contact Human Resource Services at hrs at plattsburgh.edu.
