Second Annual Alumni Speaker Series

The Department of Communication Studies will host, via Zoom, the Second
Annual Alumni Speaker series as part of the CMM 366WEB (Strategic
Communication for Social Media) class. All the speakers are mid-career
professionals who are working in diverse fields. Students interested in
sales, marketing, public relations, news and journalism, social media
management, sports, advertising, and human resources are especially

*Lindsay Shrewsbury* ('11, Communication Studies) is a SUNY
Plattsburgh Alum, who graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor
in Graphic Design. Born and raised in Oswego, NY, she has called Charlotte,
NC, home for the past 12 years. Lindsay currently works as a Vice President
Marketing Specialist for Nuveen, where she has been for the last 4.5 years,
supporting the Institutional Real Estate team. She is married to her
husband of 9 years and is a proud mom of two beautiful girls. She will
speak to students and faculty on Thursday, October 9, 2 p.m. via Zoom.
