*Stephen Peters-Collaer, *PhD Student, Natural Resources University of
Vermont

Stephen Peters-Collaer works in Dr. William Keeton’s Carbon Dynamics
Laboratory with an interest in the relationship between forest structure
and function. His research focuses on the temperate forests of New England
using field research, remote sensing, and simulation modelling approaches.
Specific interests include: resilience to disturbance, forest structural
development, carbon storage, the role human land-use plays in altering
forest structure, and the connections between forests and streams.
