Photographing the 1930s: A Showcase Exhibit

A student-curated exhibition is on display in the Feinberg Library lobby
from November 18th-December 2nd. Freshmen in Prof. Michaela Rife's
"Environmental Disaster & Art" Cardinal Foundations Seminar course
researched photographs commissioned by the Farm Security Administration and
wrote interpretive text for the exhibition. Works on display from the
Plattsburgh State Art Museum include the following artists: Dorothea Lange,
Arthur Rothstein, Marion Post Wolcott, Walker Evans, and Jack Delano.
