candidate for the position of Associate Vice-President for Academic
Affairs, on Wednesday, November 19, 11am-12pm, ACC Cardinal Lounge and Zoom

In her presentation Dr. Yu will address the new SUNY Academic Momentum
(AcMo) Initiative that is intended to improve metrics of student success
and retention, outcomes consistent with our strategic plan. Dr. Yu will
present her perspective on what she believes to be some of the major
barriers students face in achieving academic success at SUNY Plattsburgh,
as well as what systemic approaches are needed to increase our progress
towards certain AcMo targets.

The position of AVPAA is of central importance to the efficient functioning
of the campus and the AVPAA works closely with a wide range of campus
stakeholders. The search committee wishes to solicit input on the
candidates from as many interested parties as possible. Therefore, we
