Paid Public Service Opportunity Available Immediately

The Empire State Service Corps currently has one open spot for the 2025-26
academic year. ESSC members each complete 300 hours of public service over
the course of the academic year in exchange for $16 an hour (averages out
to about 10 hours per week, give or take). In addition, those who are U.S.
citizens will also be part of the AmeriCorps program which will result in
an additional educational award at the completion of the 300 hours.

There is an opening working at the SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinal Cupboard. This
program fulfills basic food and hygiene needs for students that need
assistance. The ESSC member will assist with fulfilling orders and managing
the pantry's operations, including its hours and overall organization.
Evening hours will likely be the time needed for the ESSC member to work.
