 *Dr. Amanda Meier, *Dept. of Biological Sciences SUNY Plattsburgh

Dr. Meier is a community ecologist interested in understanding how
microbial communities influence multitrophic interactions among plants,
insects and their predators. To do so, she utilizes greenhouse experiments
and field studies, coupled with molecular and chemical techniques. She
applies this research to sustainable agriculture, working to develop novel
methods of natural pest control for organic farmers. Come learn more about
her fascinating research, courses she teaches, and  research opportunities
in her lab!
