*Dr. Kevin Rose *Director, The Jefferson Project Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute


Dr. Kevin Rose received his Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental
Biology from Miami University studying the dynamics of ultraviolet
radiation in aquatic ecosystems. He went on to a postdoctoral fellowship at
the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, an AAAS Fellowship at the
U.S. National Science Foundation, and a postdoctoral appointment at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Rose joined the Department of
Biological Sciences at RPI in 2015. Since 2022 he serves as the Director of
the Jefferson Project and the Darrin Freshwater Institute. Come learn about
Dr. Rose’s fascinating career and research!
