Lactation Accommodation Policy (4048.1)

SUNY Plattsburgh has created a policy in accordance to section 206-c
<https://dol.ny.gov/system/files/documents/2024/09/p705-policy-on-the-rights-of-employees-to-express-breast-milk-in-the-workplace_-24-1.pdf>
of the NYS Labor Law to accommodate lactating and nursing employees. This
policy shall extend to all full-time, part-time, and temporary state
employees. The State University of New York (SUNY) Plattsburgh is committed
to complying with all applicable NYS and federal laws regarding
chest/breastfeeding. SUNY Plattsburgh does not discriminate against any
employee who chooses to chest/breastfeed. The complete policy can be found
