Spring Equity Advocate Dates Announced

Please join Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for upcoming Equity Advocate
Workshop opportunities.  Equity Advocates (EAs) are employees who serve as
consultants and advisors to search committees to support the growth and
development of workforce diversity.  The benefits of participating in the
training are:


● Support the growth and development of workforce diversity
● Learn skills to promote equity-minded practices
● Receive training that allows you to serve as an Equity Advocate
● Gain useful information about how unconscious bias and microaggressions
impact the hiring process and workplace
● Meet new people and learn about best practices

The dates are:



*Monday, February 24th and Wednesday, February 26th *(must attend both days)
* 10am to 12 noon (Hosted on Zoom)*


OR


*Tuesday, February 25th and Thursday, February 27th *(must attend both days)
* 10am to 12 noon****** (Workshop Sessions held in-person)*

*Hermes Conference Room, Au Sable Hall*


*****On February 27th, in the Hermes Conference Room from 12pm to 1pm,
there will be an optional celebratory lunch for all new Equity Advocates
who have completed the February 2025 Sessions.*
