*The Plattsburgh Public Library hosts a monthly speaker series*, *Life Long
Learning for All*, to help bring experts into the local community.
*Presentations
are held on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 6:30 PM in the
Auditorium* (second floor) *of the Plattsburgh Public Library* (19 Oak St).
*The next presentation is on Wednesday, December 3, at 5:30 PM,* *when
Bonnie Black will present, “Talk Saves Lives.” *Here is the description:
Talk Saves Lives is a 45-minute evidence-informed experience helping
attendees to understand that some people are more at risk than others, to
notice the signs when someone is considering suicide and what to ask and
do.
The flyer is attached. *Please come and help us get the word out, including
to our students!* We would love to continue to have great campus as well as
community turnout!
*January’s presentation will be on Wednesday, January 3, at 5:30 PM* when
you can learn about interstellar objects in the night sky.
Hope to see you there!
