Did you know that every semester, students buy art for the Plattsburgh
State Art Museum as part of the Student Association’s Art Acquisition
Board? Come learn about this tradition and the wider world of the
contemporary art market from experts including Catherine Haskins
(co-director of The Mill <https://themilladk.com/> in Westport, NY), Kara
Jefts (Manager of Collections and Academic Engagement at the Plattsburgh
State Art Museum), and Bright Kontor Osei (assistant professor, Painting
and Drawing, SUNY Plattsburgh). This is a great opportunity for students to
get involved in the Board, and for the larger campus community to meet our
