October Equity Advocate Workshops

 Welcome to the Fall 2025 semester!  Please join Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion for our October 2025 Equity Advocate Workshop opportunities.
Equity Advocates (EAs) are employees who serve as consultants and advisors
to the search process to support the growth and development of workforce
diversity and inclusion.  The benefits of participating in the training are:


● Support the growth and development of workforce diversity and inclusion
● Learn skills to promote equity-minded practices
● Receive training that allows you to serve as an Equity Advocate
● Gain useful information about how unconscious bias and microaggressions
impact the hiring process and workplace
● Meet new people and learn about best practices

our entire workforce serving as Equity Advocates by Fall 2026!





*Option I: Zoom Sessions *

• Monday, October 6 & Wednesday, October 8, 2025 (must attend both days)

• 2 to 4 pm

• Held virtually on Zoom



*Option II: In-Person Sessions*

• Tuesday, October 7 & Thursday, October 9, 2025 (must attend both days)

• 2 to 4 pm

• Held in-person in the Alumni Conference Room in ACC


*• All October participants are invited to join us for a dessert reception
from 12 to 1 pm on Thursday*
