You are invited to attend public sessions for finalists interviewing for
the Director of the new Center for Instructional and Program Innovation
(CIAPI). This is a critical role that will help advance our Academic Plan
and elevate teaching, learning, and program development across campus.

Finalist #2 will have a public session on Tuesday, August 5 from
1:45-2:45pm in the Hermes Conference Room, Au Sable Hall. You are also
invited to participate via Zoom.

*What is CIAPI?*
CIAPI combines and reimagines the former Center for Teaching Excellence
(CTE) and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) areas. It will continue
supporting faculty, but with expanded goals:

   - Develop and support new academic programs
   - Improve instructional quality and consistency
   - Enhance online, hybrid, and in-person learning
   - Advance high-impact and inclusive teaching practices
   - Strengthen the student learning experience

CIAPI is central to SUNY Plattsburgh’s academic future. Your feedback will
help identify a leader who can build on existing strengths and move us
forward.
