Dear Campus Community -


The time of year has come to start thinking about the Adopt-a-Friend
Program! The committee has been hard at work developing a plan on how we
can make this year our best year yet. 😃


To participate in this 50+ year-old program, you have a few options...


🧸 You (or your department) may *"adopt" friends directly* by shopping for
their wish list item. If this is your preferred option, please email
lbech001 at plattsburgh.edu and you will be notified when the wish list is
provided by Clinton County DSS.


🧸 Register for the *Spin-a-Thon*, hosted by the Fitness Center on
Saturday, October 19th. Registration is $25 for a two-hour slot, and is
open to all Fitness Center members. ALL proceeds go directly to our
initiative, and don't worry, you don't have to stay the whole two hours!

🧸 Play *JOKER'S WILD* for *two* chances to win a PSU swag basket and $25
Cardinal Cash! Instructions are attached at the bottom of the digest or
stop by our table in the ACC on Thursday from 11a-1p.


🧸 *Directly donate* - donations are accepted via Venmo (@Adopt-a-Friend /
code 6699), cash, or check (made out to College Auxiliary Services), and
sent to Kehoe 610.


*About Adopt-a-Friend: For over 50 years, the campus has been providing
holiday wish list items to 150 local children, aged birth to seventeen, in
coordination with the Clinton County Department of Social Services. We are
hoping to raise $5,000 this year to also be able to provide Market 32 gift
cards to additional families.*
