Exciting news from the Learning Center

With the fall semester underway, The Learning Center staff  is excited to
announce that we will be offering two new opportunities to connect with our
students:


Accountability Groups:  Accountability Groups will start September 16th and
will meet once a week throughout the semester.  The groups will be led by a
graduate intern and will provide students with a weekly check-in, peer
support, and structured study time.  Please share this link with your

Graduate Student Writing Group: If you are teaching in-person graduate
courses, please share with your students that a graduate student writing
group will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 2PM to 4PM in the Learning
Center (more to come for an online version next semester!).

Each semester, we work with our faculty to recruit and hire new tutors,
especially in high demand subjects such as Accounting, Chemistry,
Economics, Finance, Math and Physics.  If you would like to recommend a
student to become a tutor, please fill out this Faculty Recommendation Form

to reach out to the students and provide them with more information.


Class Visits: We are still happy to visit your classroom even in Weeks
Three, Four, and beyond. Just fill out our Class Visit Request Form

your visit!
