Orientation & Welcome Week "Thank You!"

Greetings!



On behalf of the Orientation & Welcome Week Steering Committee, I want to
express our immense gratitude for all that was done to make the
University's inaugural Welcome Week a success. We could not have done it
without the campus-wide support you so graciously provided. Thank you!



I'd like to personally add that it was heart-warming and inspiring to see
our campus community, as a whole, come together over the course of the week
to connect and support not only our new students and their families but
each other as well. As the saying goes, "It takes a village..." and I think
our campus truly embodied that sentiment which I believe will result in our
new students articulating that...:

·  they feel they belong here.

·  they had a positive experience and are optimistic about their time at
SUNY Plattsburgh.

·  they had opportunities to meet and connect with others.

·  they have a greater awareness of the resources available to   support
them.

·  they had a positive academic transition and

·  their families trust that the University is here for them.

Our steering committee will carry out our assessment efforts over the
course of the fall semester. That data will be used to shape the planning
process for next year.  We look forward to improving upon what we
accomplished this year.  Please don't hesitate to send any feedback you
