*Student Lunch with Kelley Slimon*
Kelley Slimon is a PhD candidate with Dr. Anurag Agrawal in the Department
of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Cornell University. Previously, He
earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from the
University of British Columbia. Kelley is broadly interested in the role of
timing in biotic interactions. Currently, his focus is on the reciprocal
effects between herbivory and plant flowering time. Kelley's work addresses
this topic across multiple ecological scales, using comparative
phylogenetic methods to understand patterns among species, while also
examining the mechanisms driving these interactions within individuals.
Much of his work centers on the beautiful evening primroses (genus
*Oenothera*)."
*Open to all Students*
*12:00 Friday Nov 1st*
