*Student Lunch with Dr. Peter Strand*

Peter Strand is currently a Geologist with the Vermont Geological Survey.
He recently received his PhD from the University of Maine, where he studied
the history of glaciers to determine the underlying causes of global
climate change. Peter’s research uses a range of geomorphologic and
geochemical techniques, such as cosmogenic exposure and radiocarbon dating,
along with glacial geomorphic mapping aided by drone imagery, to address
local and global problems in the Earth Sciences.Come learn all
about Peter’s amazing research and career!
