*UUP IDAP (Individual Development Awards) Update*

We are still waiting to hear back from Albany regarding the main round of
IDAP funding.  Albany must approve all local IDAP committee decisions
before award letters may be sent and before funding is released to the
campus. The turnaround time on the retro round of funding was similar to
past years, which bodes well for next year returning to normal (when there
is only one round of funding). Unfortunately for this year, having twice
the number of funding rounds has led to some major delays at the state
level with respect to approvals for the main round of funding.

When you receive your IDAP award letter (via email), which will probably be
after graduation, please take special note of any deadlines with respect to
submitting your reimbursement paperwork. It is our current understanding
that we will need to post transactions against the IDAP account by August
15, despite the delays with the approval process.
