The NYS Deferred Compensation Plan is a voluntary retirement savings plan
offered by New York State and your employer, to allow public employees,
like you, to put aside money from each paycheck toward retirement. The Plan
can help bridge the gap between what you have in your pension and Social
Security, and how much you’ll need in retirement.



Our local representative, Michael Kochan, is offering the following
webinars:



Women in Retirement Webinar: We will focus on a holistic approach to
financial planning. It is important to consider the unique challenges women
face as they grow older. On average, women live longer, meaning they spend
more time in retirement. We will look at some of the key factors that could
impact their retirement savings. All are welcome to attend. The Women in
Retirement webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at noon.
