Employee Vehicle Registration for the New Year

All vehicles must display a valid hang tag on the rear view mirror as proof
it is registered and legally parked according to the campus Parking Lots
and Restrictions

August is vehicle registration month. Pre-register a car in MyPlattsburgh
<http://my.plattsburgh.edu/> and claim your tag at the Angell College
Center (ACC), August 23-27 (not Sunday), 9a-12n. Late registrants wait 24
hours after registering to claim a tag from ACC (or after August 28, claim
tag from UPD.)

New employees may park pre-registered cars in designated lots, without
tags, through August 25.  Effective August 26, *all* vehicles must display
a valid tag and park in designated lots. Current tag holders, with tags
expiring September 30, 2024, may replace their old tag upon receipt of a
new tag.

employees of organizations doing business on campus refer to your
authorized agent (usually the HR rep) for details. Branch campus employees

*1-26*     August is parking registration month for the new year.
*21*        UPD is at New Faculty Orientation, AuSable Hall, 10:30a-12n.
*23-27*   Claim tag at Angell College Center, Friday-Tuesday (not Sunday),
9a-12n.
*25  *      Last day to park pre-registered cars in designated lots without
a tag.
*26  *      Valid tag required to park in designated lots as fall session
begins.
*28 *       Late registrants claim tags from UPD through the remaining
session.

*September*
*15 *        Unclaimed fac/staff tags mailed to office addresses. Update in
MyPlattsburgh <http://My.plattsburgh.edu>.
*19*         Weekly parking appeals hearings begin.
*30  *       2023-24 faculty/staff tags expire at 11:59p.

*October*
1         Deadline to display new 2024-25 faculty/staff tags.
