There are a number of resources and services available through the Office
of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE).

Surveys and Questionnaires

If you are interested in creating a questionnaire or another type of survey
to gather information from students, faculty, or staff, please review

(USS). OIE and USS are happy to assist with drafting, reviewing, and
scheduling the distribution of surveys as well as analyzing survey results.

Self-Service Dashboards and Reports

You have access to a number of reporting tools through the MyPlattsburgh
portal. If you would like more information about how to effectively use
these tools we are happy to provide individual or group training sessions.

   Argos Reports - Access to these reports is curated by your role on
   campus.
   -

      We are in the process of making these tools more searchable and
      user-friendly. In this process, you will likely notice renaming
which will
      impact the order in which these dashboards and reports appear.

   Student Success Dashboards <https://plattsburgh.successdashboard.org/> -
   These dashboards are available to all faculty and staff.
   -

      There are currently five available dashboards. We anticipate that two
      additional dashboards will be available in the next week or two and many
      more later in Spring 2024.


Assessment Support

OIE is happy to work with academic departments, student support offices,
and all campus units to design assessment processes or evaluate existing
assessment efforts.

Data and Project Requests

If you would like assistance gaining access to data, identifying metrics to
use in a specific situation, or creating report templates, you can submit a
request to OIE through the OIE Portal

changes to data elements (e.g. codes, descriptions).
