Expiration of COVID-19 Vaccination Leave

This is to notify all state employees that the Civil Service Law provision
allowing paid time off for COVID-19 vaccinations was repealed effective
December 31, 2023.  The pertinent Attendance and Leave Policy Bulletin can
be found here: PB 21-01-a (ny.gov)

Accordingly, employees who receive COVID-19 vaccines during their scheduled
work hours can request time off with a charge to appropriate accruals.
Please share with those individuals in your area who may not use email
regularly.
