*Kehoe Flood Restoration Project Status & Timeline*

Dear Campus Community,

I would like to share an update on the Kehoe Flood Restoration Project,
specifically focusing on the timelines for each floor.

*Floors 1 and 2 Restoration:*
The restoration of Floors 1 and 2 is well underway, primarily utilizing our
in-house labor force. We expect to finalize these floors by the end of
spring semester 2024.

*Floors 3 and 4 Restoration:*
The damage to Floors 3 and 4 was more extensive, necessitating the
engagement of external expertise. The restoration of these floors will
involve collaborating with a design firm and a general contractor. We've
outlined the anticipated timeline for Floors 3 and 4 below:

   - *December 2023: *Procurement for design services has commenced, and we
   estimate the design process to span approximately 90 days. Once we have an
   architect on board, we will reassess the timeline and make any necessary
   adjustments.
   - *June 2024: *Construction procurement is anticipated to begin. The
   contract will undergo review by the Office of State Comptroller (OSC), with
   an estimated review period of 45 days.
   - *August 2024: *Anticipated start of construction; projected to last
   for two months.
   - *November 2024: *We aim to complete the entire restoration project by
   this date.

We are committed to keeping you informed of any developments or adjustments
to the schedule as the project progresses. We appreciate your patience,
cooperation, and support throughout this process.  Should you have any
