Our *2024 African American Read-In* is set for February 16th from 10:30
a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Champlain Valley Hall's James Augustus Wilson Commons. We
invite everyone to join us for this exciting contribution to Black History
Month.
Bring a short selection to read, or come by just to listen for a while.
Established in 1990 by the National Council of English Teachers Black
Caucus, the National African American Read-In
<https://nationaltoday.com/african-american-read-in/>has evolved from
an instructional
event to a celebration of the significant contributions and essential role
that African American literature, art, and artists play in American
society. More than 5.9 million persons throughout the world have taken part
in this campaign.
