Canadian Studies Course Development Stipend Opportunity

On behalf of Dr. Chris Kirkey, Director, Center for the Study of Canada and
Institute on Quebec Studies, are sponsoring applications for curriculum
development stipends to enhance course offerings with Canadian or Québec
content. Faculty who meet the necessary requirements outlined in the
attached “2023-24 Course Development Stipend Opportunity” document are
eligible to receive a stipend in the amount of $2,000 (a redesign of
current courses) or $3,000 (for the creation of new courses).

All revised or new course work must take place between May 20, 2024 and
August 2, 2024, by which time the course must be submitted in its entirety.
Please be aware that the number of awards available under this program is
limited and early submission is encouraged.
