*New Administrative Policy: Gender-Based Violence & the Workplace Policy
(8027.1)*
SUNY Plattsburgh created a new Gender-Based Violence and the Workplace
Policy in response to Gov. Hochul Executive Order No. 17. The goal of this
policy is to provide victims/survivors of gender-based violence the support
they need in their work and/or learning environments through the assistance
of site-based liaisons. This policy shall extend to all full, part-time,
and temporary employees, volunteers, and interns engaged by SUNY in any
official workplace capacity. Whenever possible, this Policy shall be
extended to consultants, contractors, and other on-site providers. The
