Dr. Nuala McGann Drescher Leave ProgramIf you are interested in applying
for a leave for Fall 2025 or Spring 2026, contact Becky Barnes ( bars7450
@plattsburgh.edu <simpsome at plattsburgh.edu> ) in the campus Sponsored
Research office by Thursday Jan. 9th.  Type 'Intent to apply for Drescher' in
the subject heading. The intent to apply is a necessary step to take if you
wish to be considered for a Drescher leave in either of those semesters.  Don't
worry about filling out an application at this time. You will be contacted
with further instructions once your letter of intent has been received.

This program provides funds to enhance employment opportunities by
assisting employees to prepare for permanent or continuing appointments.
Preference will be given to employees who are underrepresented based on
