Student Research Support stipends

There are TWO funding opportunities available to faculty, both *due April
17th*.  You may apply to both.

In addition to the annual Presidential Research Awards (announced
separately), there is a new program aimed at providing opportunities for
student research.  Student Research Support stipends are available in
blocks of 140 hours ($15/hour for undergraduate students, $19/hour for
graduate students).  Stipends may be used to support student research
assistants working on faculty led research or students working on
independent research with a faculty sponsor.  All disciplines are eligible,
and a linkage to external funding is not required.
