Adopt-a-Friend!

It's that time of year!  Enrollment & Student Success is coordinating the
campus' decades old tradition of Adopt-a-Friend, our annual gift giving
campaign.


We are working in conjunction with the Department of Social Services of
Clinton County to help grant local childrens’ holiday gift wishes. There
are a variety of ages in need, from birth through teens. Wishes often
include sweatshirts and other clothing items, giftcards, toys, etc.


This year, we are fundraising across campus to be able to provide these
gift wishes. Our goal is $3,000 by November 16th. Any proceeds over that
amount will be used to purchase Market 32 gift cards to be distributed to
additional local families in need via the Department of Social Services.


If you would like to contribute, cash or check donations can be made via
Lyndsey Lafountain (lbech001 at plattsburgh.edu) in ESS - Kehoe 610, James
Sherman (sher9195 at plattsburgh.edu) in Campus Housing & Community Living -
Whiteface 122, or directly through CAS.


We will also be holding fundraising events in support of our cause,
including “Pie an Administrator” from 11-2 on Tuesday, October 31st in
Amite Plaza. We hope to see you there!
