that’s who I be, but that’s not everything.”
Dr. K. Renee Horton currently serves as the Space Launch System (SLS)
quality engineer in the NASA Residential Management Office at Michoud
Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans. She worked for NASA, first as a
student from 2009–2011 and then started her career as a mechanical test
engineer in 2012.
Renee is available for speaking engagements on the topics related to the
Space Launch System, friction stir welding and NASA, inclusion and
diversity in STEM, getting girls interested in science, how to survive
Impostor Syndrome, work-life balance, overcoming disabilities and her
favorite topic — finding your intersection between your talent and your
passion.
