*Mandatory Compliance Training - Fall Assignments*

I'm writing to share the list of Compliance Training Assignments for Fall
2023. Compliance training will be adminsistered using SafeColleges (Vector
Solutions) platform. Training is completely online, accessible from
MyPlattsburgh portal, self-paced and can be completed at your convenience
around your schedule. The total training for the term is estimated at 80
minutes in length and the due date is 1/31/2024. These trainings have been
assigned to comply with state external mandates and local campus
priorities for staff training.

*Fall 2023 Compliance Training Assignments:*

   1. Run, Hide, Fight (15 min)
   2. Sexual Harassment: Staff to Staff (37 min)
   3. Title IX and Sexual Harassment Prevention for Employees (Custom
   Course - Coming Soon)

*Accessing your SafeColleges Course Assignments:*

   - Emails will be sent to @plattsburgh.edu users, with the subject:
*[Official]
   SafeColleges Compliance Training Assignment. *Click the link within the
   email to login.
   -  New! Visit the MyPlattsburgh Portal to click the icon on the main
   menu to login.

*Reminders and Deadlines:*

   - Reminders of outstanding training assignments will be sent monthly by
   email.
   - The training deadline for each course is set as 1/31/2024.
   - New Compliance Training assignments will be assigned for Spring 2024
   in February.
   - Sexual Harassment and Title IX course completions are being tracked
   for compliance. Non-compliance will be communicated to employees and/or
   their supervisors and Deans or Vice Presidents on a case-by-case basis.
   - Employees who do not have a dedicated computer or quiet space to meet
   their training requirements and/or deadlines should speak with their
   supervisors so that every effort can be made to support you.
   - Employees who need reasonable accommodations to meet training
   requirements and/or deadlines, should speak with their supervisors or
   contact Human Resource Services at hrs at plattsburgh.edu.

*Extra Training:*

   - Training courses can be found in the "Extra Training" section within
   SafeColleges. The course library offers a variety of courses covering a
   wide range of topics. Users can browse the library and view the courses
   that interest you at your convenience.
